I have told your sysop/postmaster a zillion times that his internet setup is incorrect. Everything send to our domain <edu.org> ends up here with us in Sweden and is forwarded directly into dev/null. Tell him to get his things right, or get his ass off the Internet. - Claes --- begin forwarded text Date: Sat, 10 Feb 1996 19:54:56 -0800 From: Dennis Wish <wish(--nospam--at)cyberg8t.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 To: seaoc(--nospam--at)seaoc.org Subject: Re: [SEAOC] Computer Applications Sender: owner-seaoc(--nospam--at)seaoc.org Precedence: bulk Reply-To: seaoc(--nospam--at)seaoc.org Marlou B. First, I would suggest that you change to a DOS based system (Power Mac or Window's Compatible). The majority of software available for structural engineering applications is written for the IBM format. All survey's that I have seen done (including the one we did for SEAOSC Computer Applications Committee) indicated that less then 10% of professional offices uses systems other than IBM compatible. Once you move in that direction, I would be happy to direct your to appropriate software.
