Raghu,
Thank you for your reply. I believe your comments about handling, 
chipping, and subsequent corrosion would apply universally, as well as in 
Oz. I have watched these rebar being placed in local marine type 
structures, and the necessary care in handling just wasn't there. I'm 
still wondering though, has anyone seen examples of in situ corrosion of 
epoxy coated rebars?
