RE: Concrete T-Beams

The equation for shear strength provided by concrete for nonprestressed
members in ACI 318-95 (Equ. 11-3) utilizes the term bw for calculating
the concrete shear strength.  The term bw is defined as the web width.
Only the web can be utilized for shear strength.  The slab should be
ignored.
