Wrong.  I havn't been there but my impression and experiences lead me to
believe Berkeley is more of a theoretical school.  The Cal Poly schools
(San Louis Obispo and Pomona) I think are better in teaching practical
engineering.  I would hire someone from Cal Poly before Berkeley.
