Thank you for your interest in the Building Design & Code Enforcement
Professionals Survey funded by the State of California, Proposition 122,
Product 4.1 - Improved Seismic Safety Training of Building Design and Code
Enforcement Professionals Project.
 
According to the SEAOC Web Site, http://www.seaoc.org, "If you have not
received 
the survey and wish to complete one, please contact SEAOC by E-mail at
seaoc(--nospam--at)aol.com, FAX 916 568-0677 or telephone 916 568-7922 and we will provide
you a copy."

Proposition 122 provided $300 million dollars for the evaluation and retrofit
of local essential buildings and state buildings.  Proposition 122 also
provide the State of California Seismic Safety Commission with $ 3 million to
be used for "research methods, techniques and technologies to identify and
analyze potentially hazardous buildings and facilities...."    Product 4.1 -
Improved Seismic Safety Training of Buidling Design and Code Enforcement
Professionals - is one of the last but most important Products to be developed
under Proposition 122 research funds.

Please refer to a previous posting on the SEAOC List Server, "Building Design
& Code Enforcement Professionals Survey Anouncement", posted 12-13-97, for
additional information.

Everyone please fill out the survey form and send it in.  The Proposition 122
Oversight Panel will give careful consideration to the results of the survey
and advise  the Joint Venture of Applied Technology Council and Structural
Engineers Association of  California, who will develop and deliver the
training materials.
