RE: Roof Diaphragm / Ridge Vent

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
Run the roof sheathing to the top of the ridge to connect the diaphragm. The required opening area can generally be accommodated by drilling a series of holes through the roof sheathing below the vent.

Does nayone have any suggestions on an efficient means for making the
roof diaphragm continuous for a double pitched roof with a continuous
ridge vent? (Plywood sheathing on pre-fabricated wood trusses)>
