TOPIC: "Documentation and Depositions: The Expert's Achilles Heel"

Our speakers this month are with a law firm that has specialized in national
and international construction, surety and government contract law. Their
work consists of preparing, prosecuting, and defending major construction
claims. Through this work, they have developed an understanding of the role
of experts in the construction dispute resolution process.

Their presentation will focus on forensic expert preparation, and
particularly, expert depositions. They will discuss both the obvious and not-
so-obvious "do's and don'ts" of expert testimony in deposition. They also
plan to present several anecdotal examples of the strengths and weaknesses
that experts typically exhibit.
