Re: ASCE 7-95 Wind Loads

Look at Table 4(e) [page 1162] ASCE Transactions, Part II, Vol. 126, 1961 for 
the wind forces on a saw-toothed roof.  Wind coefficients at the valleys are 
-0.6, wind coefficients at the ridges are -1.3 away from gabled end, -2.0 at 
gabled end, wind normal to ridge line.

In order to know what ASCE 7-95 intended, they should have shown a plan and 
elevation for a saw-toothed roof, not for a plan and elevation of the same 
single span module that is shown in figure 6-5B.  See also cryptic note 9 for 
figure 6-5 on page 23 of ASCE 7-95.
