RE: AUTOCAD To MICROSTATION

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
I found that some programs strip out the Autocad R14 hatch pattern and
replace it when converting back. I believe that this is true of either
Intergraph's Imangineer Technical or Visio's Intellicad. You might find
Microstation doing the same thing. I don't remember who owns Microstation,
but it occurs to me that it might be Intergraph. There should be something
in their help files to explain this.
You might also try exploding the hatch pattern since it then becomes
integrated into the drawings.

Subject: AUTOCAD To MICROSTATION

FELLOWS:
I loose HATCHING from my drawings when I open or import AUTOCAD(R14)
drawings
into MICROSTATION(SE), everything else seems to work except
HATCHING/PATERRENING.
Any ideas how to deal with this.
