To: Readers of List Server, On behalf of the SEA International ( http://www.seaint.org ), I wish to welcome you. The SEAint Web Site and List Server is dedicated to the improvement of communication among structural engineering professionals both within the United States and around the world. In addition, the SEAint Web Site is also dedicated to the technical exchange and advancement of structural engineering profession worldwide. SEAOSC in Whittier, California, USA owns, operates and maintains this internet web site. This new identity is launched with a deep commitment in becoming a hub for structural engineering associations both domestic and abroad. The primary mission of the SEAint Web Site and List Server provides both engineers and academia with a tool in obtaining useful and timely information, and a common forum to those who wish to contribute to the List freely for the betterment of structural engineering profession. The intent of the web page and list server is to promote awareness of and to provide an avenue for membership in various professional organizations, and to disseminate any and all information related to the field of structural engineering (both technical and non-technical.) As the web page projects the image of SEA, it shall be presented with a professional quality that symbolizes the experience and standard of care that each organization represents.
