RE: LIVE LOAD FOR WEIGHT ROOMS

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
For free weights, use the LL for the occupancy (either 50 psf or 100 psf
depending on exiting requirements). For fixed weights, use the actual
machine weights and locate them on the plan. For aerobics, watch out. Lots
of harmonic resonance here.

HAS ANYONE A RECOMMENDATION FOR THE LIVE LOAD TO USE IN DESIGNING A FLOOR
FOR A WEIGHT LIFTING ROOM IN AN ATHLETIC FACILITY?
