RE: Structural Software

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
Please don't take this amiss, but I have a hard time imagining a structural engineering shop that can't run software for OSes other than DOS.

Heck, you can get a 200MHZ Pentium setup now, fully featured, with Windows 98 loaded, for well under $1,000. What are you running?

I am also a 1 person shop, and agree with David Martin concerning
RISA3D. I downloaded Avansee, but am unable to use it because it won't
run under DOS. Haven't tried the others you mentioned. RISA2D and 3D
do everything I ask, so there's little incentive to keep looking for
something better.
