California Seismic Hazard Zone Maps now on line

Images of 12 new Preliminary Maps of Seismic Hazard Zones have been added to
the Department of Conservation's web site. To access an index with
thumbnails of the maps, see http://www.consrv.ca.gov/dmg/shezp/maps.htm .
With this release, there are now 40 SHZ maps available for viewing,
affecting Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura Counties, and the city and county of
San Francisco. The 12 maps just released cover portions of Los Angeles
County.
