RE: Floor Vibration Serviceability Constraints

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
The author of the AISC Paper "Building Floor Vibrations",3rd quarter 1991
has a program that our firms likes.  It's about $250 and well worth the
money.  I believe it is based on the AISC#11.  I don't have his phone, but
you should be able to find him through Virginia Tech in Blacksburg,
Virginia.  He probably has a VT web page.

Subject: Floor Vibration Serviceablity Constraints

Does anyone out there use software to analyze floor systems in accordance
with AISC/CISC #11 Floor Vibrations due to Human Activity?

If so which program, and do you feel it justifies the cost versus the old
calculator and pencil methods?
