perceptible floor slopes

David

When you establish an allowable deflection by defining it in terms of L/A
(for example L/360) you are really defining the maximum slope. This is
because for a simple beam with a uniform load the maximum slope( in
radians) is equal to 3.2/A. The relatively good experience with these
criteria implies that you should not have a problem with floor slope if you
use this as s criteria to establish the maximum slope.
