RE: Wood Structure Design/Reference Book

I believe the 3rd edition is based off of the 91 NDS (the new wood
design criteria). It has a green cover. The 2nd edition is based off
the old NDS and has a blue cover.

I'd have to agree with that. But 3rd ed. is based on the older NDS.
Is there a 4th ed.?

Tahir,
About the best is "Design of Wood Structures, 3rd Ed." by Don Breyer,
Professor at Cal Poly Pomona. It is $63 from www.amazon.com and they say
it
ships within 24 hours.
