Wood Structure Design/Reference Book

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
Tahir,

There are several "good" references for wood design. If you want design
examples, Breyer's book is probably the most common. If you want wood
reference material, contact the Forest Products Society (2801 Marshall Court,
Madison, WI 53705-2295) to order a copy of their upcoming latest edition of
the "Wood Handbook" ($59.95 plus shipping). Also, Western Wood Products
Association (www.wwpa.org, 522 SW Fifth Ave., Ste. 400, Portland, OR
97204-2122) published an updated edition of their "Western Woods Use Book" a
couple of years ago. This is a huge 3-ring binder and includes a "Column and
Beam" program. The price is $60.00 and includes shipping.
