obtained, on the list tomorrow -- for those of us who wish to attend but

Perhaps the Steel Adhoc Committee's "Steel Considerations No. 2." could be
posted by the presenters -- following Shafat's footsteps.

John Shipp, SEAOC President will be giving a State of the State Association
address this evening !

He invites all members to come out and hear what the association is doing
for its members.

ADDITIONALLY -- this will be an excellent opportunity to Voice Your
Comments and Concerns directly to the top.

Where: In ORANGE COUNTY - Costa Mesa Country Club, 1701 Golf Course Dr.,
Costa Mesa
When: TONIGHT  Wednesday, Jan 13.  Social Hour begins at 5 pm.  Dinner at
6pm -- The program will begin at 7:30

Why:  The discussion will cover steel moment frames including their
performance, current design practice, testing issues,   concerns and
research.  The speaker(s) will address some of the concerns of engineers
who are currently designing these structures and update the audience on the
progress of the Steel Adhoc Committee's "Steel Considerations No. 2."

HANDOUTS WILL BE PROVIDED and will include a draft of this document.
