RE: Stainless Steel Bolt Alloy

David,

I would use Type 316. It is commonly available and does not pit like the
304 tends to do.

Subject: Stainless Steel Bolt Alloy

I need to attach some stainless steel angles together in an exposed
situation in coastal (South Florida) area. ATSM F593 addresses stainless
steel bolts - however several alloy groups are possible. Which alloy is
best suited for this application?
