Try pressure vessel codes someday. Same story. At one time people were 
getting blown up and burned up regularly by boiler explosions. That's the 
reason you have that bronze relief valve with the cloverleaf tag on your 
hot water heaters. But it doesn't happen much any more, and it's out of 
sight, out of mind.
