Highlight and then cut and paste from a word processor into Mtext editor
(do not save as an ascii file as this strips the formatting) . For the
most part the original format remains. You need to adjust the size of
the mtext box to get the right results. However I recommend inserting
no more than one page at a time as it can be slow to resize a large body

Subject: Autocad14 & General Notes
Does anyone have any idea how to bring General Notes (or any
body of text) into Autocad14 and have it retain its original
format from a
Word or Wordperfect file. I have tried saving an ascii text
file with both
programs and I just get a mess when I pull the "txt" file into
with the mtext editor. It seems to loose the format that I had
hard returns, tabs etc in my original document.
