The deadline is July 18 (a Sunday?) and only 4 days away!  How many people even
knew this code was being revised?  The document is 133 pages long!  Appendix
Chapter 1 will now contain, tilt-up, (formerly Chapter 5), cripple wall (formerly
Chapter 6) and new non-ductile concrete provisions (from COLA).  Since Appendix
Chapter 1 is a Model Code in California.  All of these provisions will become
mandatory minimums in every jurisdiction in this state when the code is adopted in

Oh, by the way, the meeting notice fails to state where the meeting will occur.

Remember you can never sleep while your government is at work.
