NO.  This is why in the latest version the dialog box that pops up for you
to reconfirm your password tells you specifically to not lose your password.
This option cannot be reversed.  Also, the password function is
case-sensitive; it does matter if you type capitals.  I found this out the
hard way when working in a previous version that did not warn me.

I protected M.S. Exel workbook or sheet some years ago and have forgotten
the password.   Can anyone tell me how to unprotect without the password.
