I am currently designing multi-site retrofits for MRI installations.
The minimum live load per person (calculating the weight placed on the
floor) is required to be 350 lbs./person.

Yes, unfortunately, there will be people who exceed this.  If this
happens, I'm sure they have other concerns than if their beds sag a
little extra.

** You might want to consider and compare what the load would be if
someone de-
** cided they wanted a waterbed!  Don't forget the "Goldilocks" factor
of safety:
