RE: Wind loading in Miami

Actually, the city of Miami proper and the surrounding area will use the
Dade Co. edition of the S. Florida code, although I'm not familiar w/ the
difference between it and the Broward Co. edition.

We have designed several schools in the area around Miami. Use the South
Florida Building Code - Broward County Edition. This code will reference
ASCE 7-? depending on the edition of the code being enforced. Contact the
local municipality to get the specifics.

Is anyone familiar with the code that governs wind loadings for one and
two story dwellings in the Miami (Fla.) area?. I need to know which code
to use.

Thank you,
