RE: Mathcad and or Excel

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
The reason that I am predisposed to MathCad is that there are no hidden
cells and the calculations mimic hand prepared calculations.

The ramifications are that many jurisdictions including the NRC will accept
MathCad templates. But verifications are required for Excel templates.

I still use Excel if the calculation is rather involved. But I am obligated
to do proper verifications. The problem is that the verification procedures
may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

Subject: Mathcad and or Excel

Hi,
I see lots of us are using Mathcad for Calc Sheets. I used to use version 5
of Mathcad but switched to Excel for its power of calculating against
Mathcad. Besides better looking calc sheets does Mathcad have any advantages
over Excel?
Thanks,
