FEM software

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]

Hi there ,

I'm working on a project of a bridge rehabilitation including concrete repair, reinforcements repair or replacement because of corrosion. THe length of the bridge is 3,600 km and it consists of simple prestressed beam spans (each span has 45 m of length) and prestressed piers, and because of the marine place agressivity, there are more damage (corrosion, cracks...) leading to think it will happen a collapse!!!

So i'm looking for free software of meshing prestressed structures using the Finite Element Method, available either by downloading on internet or otherelse. The software looking for uses data (number of damaged prestressed tendons, thickness of damaged concrete ...) in order to calculate bending moments, shear efforts, to establish the safety degree of the bridge.
