[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]

On October 25th, 1999 there will be a"UCEB Open Forum". (UCEB - Uniform
Code for
Existing Buildings, was formerly the UCBC.) The meeting will be at the
Oakland
Hilton at 1 Hegenberger Rd, Oakland, CA 94621 (phone 510-635-5000)
from 9 AM to 4 PM, with one hour break from 12 Noon to 1 PM for lunch.

This meeting is being jointly sponsored by SEAOC Existing Buildings
Committee and
ICBO. The purpose of the Open Forum is to allow open discussion of
concerns
about any provisions of 2000 UCEB. This meeting is free and open to the
public.
All are invited to attend. It is hoped that these discussions will
eliminate
confusion, and highlight substantial issues that may need to be modified in
the
2001 UCEB Supplement through code change proposals (November 1 deadline).

A draft of the 2000 UCEB can be found on the ICBO website.
