You can import a scanned image into AUTOCAD but you can't edit it.  I usually trace the image if I need to edit.

Does any one know if there is a scanner in the market that can scan lines and
words into .DXF or .WMF formats?  I want to scan a drawing to import into
AUTOCAD.
