[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
There has been another major earthquake in Turkey at 6:57 PM local time
(8:57 AM L.A. time). Preliminary magnitude (Mw) is 7.2 and is located
in the North Anatolian Fault zone with an epicenter near the town
of Duzce. Duzce is on the eastern end of the fault that is believed to
have ruptured during the August 17, Mw=7.4 event.
