Title: RE: Outlook 2000 Question

I cannot think of a more fun way to start the New Year (new millennium or not) than one-upping my good friend and fellow Texan, Bill Polhemus.  If you are running Win95 or Win98, the illusive Inbox Repair Tool is waiting for you at "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Exchange\SCANPST.EXE".

If you don't find it there, then go back to your setup options and add it.

If the Inbox Repair Tool doesn't solve the problem, then I suggest that you reinstall Outlook 2000.  Please note that the version of Outlook 2000 that comes on the Office 2000 CD is not fully compatible with the latest version on Microsoft's Exchange Server.  To solve this, if you have a couple of free hours, you can download an upgraded version of Outlook 2000 from Microsoft.

Hope this helps!

The "Inbox Repair Tool" is going to be something that your post office
manager (i.e. network guy) will have access to. I doubt it is available to
the user, unless you can get the CD-ROM yourself.

Help!  Since December 29, I have not been able to delete any emails from my
Inbox.  When I try to delete any, I get an error message that tells me my
"Outlook.pst" file is corrupted, and to quit all mail enabled applications
and use the Inbox Repair Tool.  Maybe I've been hit by a virus, but I can
not locate the Inbox Repair Tool anywhere.  Does anyone out there know of a
