8WF17 =>  Sx=14.1
          Ix=56.4
          A=5.0

6B8.5 =>  Sx=5.07
          Ix=14.8
          A=2.50

These values are from "Iron and Steel Beams, 1873-1952" published by
AISC, tenth printing in 1985.  Before you use these values, you need to
know the approximate year the steel was manufactured, as Fy values
varied.

Does anyone know where I can find dimensions and properties for older
steel
designations? The shapes that I am looking for are a 6B8.5 and a 8WF17.
