The literature published by Fibermesh et al, specifically mentions that all
established crack control procedures such as expansion/contraction joints,
etc., must be implemented.

Polypropylene FRC is NOT for "crack-control" in the conventional sense, but
is SUPPOSED to alleviate the shrinkage/drying cracks that typically occurs
during the initial concrete cure.

Whether it performs as advertised or not depends on to whom you speak.

FWIW, I no longer bother with it.
