RE: USACE TI 809-04 Seismic Design for Buildings

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
Harold,

TI 809-4 is a blend of the FEMA 302 provisions document. TI 809-4 is
intended to be used for military construction and by the consultants who
provide services for the military branches. I think there are some
differences between FEMA 302 and TI 809-4, but for the most part TI 809-4 is
somewhat of a guide for doing seismic engineering in accordance to the
latest requirements of FEMA 302.

I am using the USACE TI 809-04 "Seismic Design for Buildings" dated 31
December 1998 for the first time. I would appreciate any reviews, comments,
or sage words of advice as I wander through this new forest of Corps code.
If you don't have it you should get it.
