I would design it like a t-beam without the beam. There is other criteria to meet besides ½ the span length. Like 16 times the thicness of the slab, which ever is less.

For a concentrated load at mid-span of a precast plank roof, the PCI Design
Handbook recommends using an effective width equal to one-half the span
length. This seems reasonable to me.
