If the suit involved a claim of financial loss because the Code was 
ignored (The building might be claimed to be less valuable) or if Code 
compliance were promised but not delivered (A screaming match over who 
told what to whom) or repairs needed to restore or upgrade, the engineer 
might be held liable.
