[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next] As you said, "it depends".  Most manufacturers use rod webs for K-series joists 18" deep and less, crimped angle webs for K-series 24" deep and deeper, and crimped angles for all LH-series.  20 and 22"?  A toss up.  If you care on a particular project, feel free to specify it.  Or if you have some other criteria, for which rod or crimped will work better, specify the underlying criteria and let the manufacturer satisfy your real need.
