RE: IBC 2000 Adoption??

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
The 2000 code partnership Joint Committee is currently preparing a report,
on the adoption of the IBC, for submission to the California Building
Standards Commission on July 3. This is the second milestone in the process
of adoption of the 2000 IBC by the state of California. Upon CBSC's review
and decision, the next phase will start which will include work by state
agencies on the amendments to the national code. As far as I know the
earliest the CBSC will come to a vote on the final adoption will be July of
2001.

The SEAINT website states that the IBC 2000 *may* be adopted as
early as
July!! Is this true or has Shafat been putting interesting stuff in
his pipe
	again?
