I am running InoculateIT Version 5.1 with the latest virus signature updates
and have not experienced any of the symptoms that you are writing about.
Perhaps you chose some unfortunate configuration settings, such as "All
Files" for real time monitoring, or a huge number of files for the
progressive scan at startup. Load it again, and then take the time to read
the configuration setting help files very carefully.
Then again, maybe it's just the dreaded Bartlesville Bug !;^>
