RE: Payloader Slab Design

Ed: We recently designed a building to house a med waste incinerator. The
floor was designed to handle large equipment loads of the type you describe.

We worked with Dramix on a steel fiber reinforced floor system to handle,
not only the direct loads from the equipment, but the "wear and tear" from
the equipment operation including bucket scraping, tires turning, etc.

I know this isn't EXACTLY what you were asking, but it may well have
application to your situation also.

Regards.

How would one appropriately design for heavy equipment loads on a concrete
slab?
