Being a curtainwall manufacturer, we are always concerned with galvanic
action between the aluminum mullions and reinforcing steel.  A good coat of
bituminous paint on the steel is probably the cheapest and easiest method.
Another method is to simply place a thin sheet of plastic (UHMW, delrin,
etc.) between the members - that will work fine as long as you have
bearing-type connections.
