Some questions need answering before a solution is found easily.
First off - what process are you using AC or DC?
If it's DC, try AC. Magnetization should affect it less since the polarity
is switching many times per second, and the arc can't move around that
If you're having trouble with AC, post the WPS and I'll have a look. No
Failing that, give Omer Blodgett at Lincoln a try. The old master is still
around and taking questions.
