To define "Gunite"
Gunite is a type of pneumatically placed concrete (i.e. ejected from a hose
as part of a high spead air stream). There are two basic types:
1) "Shotcrete" which is ready mixed concrete injected directly into an
airstream and deposited with no change to the mix.
2) "Gunite" in which the cement and aggregate are mixed dry into an
airstream with water added as it exits the nozzle.
The material is "shot" against a surface, to which it adheres, and finished
