Re: UL numbers for mechanical deck attachment

Do not apply engineering logic or common sense when using the UL Manual. The
assemblies listed are based on tested components that are physically heated to
the UL's definition of failure. Substitution of non-acceptable products will
void the UL assembly rating which in turn voids the fire-rating.

If its not a tested product, do use it in a UL assembly.
