Lt Ga Metal Trusses

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
Hello,

Is there any information available for writing a specification for Lt Ga Metal
Trusses? We have our first school involving them and are planning on using the
same philosophy as for wood trusses. Provide a specification and have a
specialist in these things design them. Any critical issues I need to worry
about?

On a related issue. I don't think welding anything thinner than 16 ga.is
practical so that is the min ga I am planning on using. However, how would metal
deck be attached to the trusses? Using TEK screws or welded same as to bar
joists?

Thanks,

Mike
