RE: Metric Roof Slope

Roof slope, expressed as, 2:12, is unitless since it is the same if both 
numerator and denominator were in inches, feet, mm, metres, rods, furlongs, 
miles, kilometres, etc.  I would hope that you are not referring to a slope 
of 2-inches in 12-feet.
