Free steel seminar By Dr. A. Astaneh @ the city of San Jose

The City of San Jose Building Department is pleased to announce a seminar on
current topics covering seismic design and behavior of steel bolted moment
and simple shear connections. The speaker is Dr. A. Astaneh, Ph.D., PE,
Professor at UC Berkeley. Dr. Astaneh has extensive experience in seismic
design and analysis of steel structures and is the author of numerous
research articles and design guides on this subject. The seminar is open to
all interested parties at no cost.
