RE: Need some advices

Billy-
Isn't this what your instructor wants to investigate? Getting advice from
practitioners may be the easy way but you will learn more if you struggle
with the problem a bit and try various solutions.

	Subject:	Need some advices

	Hi All,

For my final year project, I have to write the design concept for
the office
tower with 40 floors, 4 basement car parks and a plaza area at the
ground
level with an overall height of 180 metres above ground. The floor
area is
	approx. 48mx42m.

The main feature of this project is that:
-The floors are hung by truss at five different levels
-The truss height is 3 floor level
-Main columns only support the strusses (not any floors)
-A 12-story central atrium space above plaza level.

	Question:
-The typical layout of this kind of structure
-What is the best materials used and reasons
-Is this kind of structure buildable

I would like some ideas from big brothers and sisters in this
specialty.
	Thank you very much

	Kind regards,

	Billy
