RE: Flood Plains in Brazil

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
A few years ago, one of the space shuttles' mission was to map the entire
earth. I've seen lots of Landsat and other satellite images which
presumably were turned into maps. I'm not sure which government agency
(other than Dept. of Defense) has this information. I've noticed that the
National Earthquake Information Center has some pretty detailed maps on
their World Seismicity webpage (http://neic.usgs.gov/). You might try
contacting them to see where they are getting their information.

Subject: Flood Plains in Brazil

Does anyone know where I can obtain information on flood plans in Brazil, (
mainly in and around Sao Paulo)?
Any information on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Nick.
