Half my practice is residential, you came to the reight place.Mass State Building Code (MSBC)has charts etc for rafter span tables, floor joist sizes, etc.
Nailing patterns are 12" field 6" perimeter, that means 12" every 16" along rafters/joists and 6" along the plywood perimeter.

I really am looking forward to doing this project myself and would be very greatful for any pointers in the right direction.
